Default Will 93-97 del Sol Catback fit on 92-95 hatch?

Getting rid of the del Sol and buying a hatch. My sol is a 94 and the hatch I'm buying is a 93. Will my skunk2 exhuast bolt up to the 93 hatch? I'm almost sure it will, just making sure. I know they have the same chassis.

nah it doesnt fit, or atleast mine didnt.

i bought a hks hi-power with custom 2.25 piping of a 93 sol for my 93 si and it came up about 8 inchs short and since its custom made the part that goes over the lca rubs a little and a set of the hangers didnt match up either. we added in 8inchs and not it sticks out a little far so i have to cut about a inch and a half from a different part and then all thats left is the rubbing...

good luck with it though. oh yea the cats are different to just to let you know.

Ya know... I was maybe thinking that the reason your exhaust came up short was because it was a custom job? I have the bolt on system. Considering the 93-97 del Sol and 92-95 hatch have the same chassis, I was thinking it might just bolt right up.

thats what we assumsed too, but whats the difference between the two, the only thing i can see is the custom piping runs the piping over the lca not under, thats not gunna be a 8 inch loss you know, i dunno man give it a shot and if it dont work mod it a little.

another thing is the stock cat to a civic requires a gasket as the del sol does not, or so the muffler place told me. so at first i had a leak, got the gasket that and bam no more leak. there was a stock gasket in my old cat i found out but the gutted sol cat that i have on now didnt coem with one.

yah my exhaust was off of a 92 hatchback and we had to cut off about 10 inches and have a shop weld the pipes together and then it bolted up perfectly........

Insurance is gay. I got mad proof that the guy hit me: witness, police report, and the damage on my car! They only wanted to offer me 50/50 without the witness, now that they finally contacted my witness, they are only willing to do 70%. This is bullshit. I dont know how much more proof I can give them! It would be a waste bringing into small claims court or something because it'll cost me more money to get a lawyer than I'm getting from them. Damage is $2536, they only wanna give me 70% and its not even my fault!!! I'm going to see if they will give me a flat $2,000. Then sell the del Sol for like $800.
