a new antenna?

my radio reception just flat out sucks. i have a 96 civ ex. i have a jvc kdsh77.

how hard is it to upgrade an antenna, and will that even help my shitty radio reception?

Im pretty sure radio shack sells after market anntenna's. Also, im getting bad reception right now too, but ive ran different head units in my car and they all seem to work perfectly, its just with this one cd player thats gving my problems. So maybe its your head unit? You never know...
