If im not mistaken, a 1996 Civic EX comes with 14" wheels. If you have 16" wheels, then it will fit, but look like a monster truck.

^^ LOL but those are some wide tires you got there. i'm on 205/45/16 on h&r race spring and i'm rubbing crazy i know your gonna be at stock height, but i don't think it'll look nice at all. i think you'll actually hit the rear control arm in the rear if you offset is not meant for your car.

for most people, it is not worth it, WAY too tall. personally, i am going to run 285/30-18, which is roughly the same height, but i am running custom modded fenders/wheels/etc.

Re: will 245/45/16 tires fit on 96 EX? (Rodney)
well i have 215/35/18's on the car now and this is what it looks like
the 245 is how wide the tire is from side to side right? thats all im worried about, if they are too wide. the only reason i want to get 16's is because i want to sell the ones i have now and make like 100-200$ after i buy new wheels, because im working on a turbo kit

well if theire 245, that wont judge how high my car sits will it? i thought it was the profile and rims size that did that, im just wondering if 245 wide tires will fit?
also, that camera angle makes the car look higher.

245/45/16 will sit higher then 215/45/16 BECAUSE: the middle term is the precent of the width that the sidewall is. so with the 245/45 your sidewall will be 45% of 245mm, while with the 215/45 your sidewall will be 45% of 215mm. GET IT?

So you'll have a faster car that still handles like crap, eh? I'll have to try that sometime.

Re: (ek forever guy)
I say get a lift, some mud tires, a snorkel, and go muddin'.
I thought my car looked like an off roader when I pitched my 3" cut stock springs with H&R OE sport springs but man unmodifed suspension with 16's. Crap, that looks worse than my old EJ1 on 17's on 2" drop. (when it was my brother's. I had it on 15" GS-R/LS Meshes with stock Integra GS-R/Civic Si sized tires)

I'm with him. Try some suspension stuff first. Drop springs are cheap man. It's not gonna hinder your turbo at all. get 2" drop or something.
