Im working on a freinds 92 civic with b16 swap and it just started having a fast idle surge problem. Code 14 is IACV so I repalced it with one that I know works but still dosent work. He said it was running fine one day and it all the sudden started doing it.

I noticed there was a leak near his floor annd some moisture present. Maybe posible ECU damage from short???

Also the people who did the swap wired in a 4 wire O2 and they taped one of the black wires into the IACV wire at the A9 position on conector. I havent wired for one yet and Im wondering if the O2 could be screwing with the IAC.

Im stumped on where to go next... any help would be great.
