will 16 be ok mags
I have a 97 civic stock I wanna start tuning it but can't really afford it right now. I wanna know if putting 16'' mags on it will fk things up with the suspensions or clearance... anything. I don't wanna lower it just want the mags.

Re: will 16 be ok mags (SkyeC)
i also thought mags were on bikes
anyway, 16's wont do anything. there are also other topics on here where people go into detail about which is better, 15's or 16's, those could be helpful to read also.

18's=just stupid
17's=some can look good but most dont they are too big... and they rub like no other
16's=best look i think
15's=best for racing... lighter and still look good

Re: will 16 be ok mags (snatch13)
I had 17's on my Civic (B4 they were ganked) with H&R Racing Springs that dropped my car quite a bit. If you take out the plastic above each wheel well you wont rub at all. Now I sport the Si stock rims (15's) with 205-55-15's. Nice clean stock look.

"mag" is short for magnesium, which is what older alloy wheels used to be mostly... newer alloys are mostly aluminum (cheaper), while more exotic rims use magnesium

Re: will 16 be ok mags (dantastic)
