i found this wierd switch under my steering wheel does anyone know what it is? i took off the bottom of the steering wheel and it runs to this box with wires and fuses hooked up, i have 1995 honda civic ex im pretty sure it isnt stock.

This is a custom switch previous owner probably put it on. Since it seems to be connected to the security alarm box, I'm gonna say it's the security bypass switch.

the alarm its self doesnt work, my flashers come on but no sound, but i have the keyless entry.

and also theres a dei remote start that i ahve never gotten to work.

Avital is a maker of alarm systems. It's probably a valet switch that is non-functional.

yeah but they told me to remove it and find out what it does so i did, and i couldnt find my thread, it wasnt showing up earlier.

Hey Cameron, I'll trade you the answer to your alarm problem for an RC Heli...I have the exact same alarm set up and some VERY clever fellas fixed an identical problem for me last fall.
