why are my lights dimming in my 97 ex ?
OK...first off i would like to thank anyone that can help me w/my probem
I just bought the car and it was owned by an older woman so i know it wasn't beat on...Sometimes when i am driving my gauge lights and headlights will dim then come back to normal...it has nothing to do withe the speed of the car or the rpm's.and the problem is not consistant..it seems like it happens more down bumpy roads but i am not sure...Once again any help is appriciated thanks,
Nate

sounds like a bad connection somewhere....track down your constant 12v wire to the lighting, and make sure the wires are not torn/rubbing on anything...check the ground as well......if that doesnt work, check the battery becuase i dont think the lights are wired to the alternator.....good luck
