hmmm.....thats a good quesiton, i know the answer, because it didn't, if honda had something that out did the GSR and Type-R there would be no reason to buy the more expensive acura now would it, honda is in it to make money not to please the enthusiest

Acura's image is more upscale than Honda's. Putting in their best four cylinder engine in their cheapest car doesn't make sense. A Honda Civic over $25k? Poor sales for Integras? Why even bother to have a limited run of ITRs?

You can ask, why have Celerons? Why have Durons? Why have different clock speeds for a Pentium 4?

And I hope you are ******* joking...but for the record Acura is Honda and the RSX Type S has a 6 speed and they most definatly had a stock turbo Civic on the JDM
