Who makes a shifter that is taller and positioned closer to the driver?
As the topic states, Im trying to find out who makes a shifter lever that is taller and angled towards the driver (aftermarket or OEM). This will be for a EG DX. I've noticed that the Skunk2's look a bit taller than most other short shifters and is angled toward the driver. I dont have the money to spend one on a C's driving position kit. Are the del sol, GSR/ITR shifters offer what Im looking for?

I know the gs-r shifter sits closer the the driver (well at least mine does).
It comes up about the same height as the civic one but curves back

The del sol shifter is cocked twards the driver, it shifts really nice, the throw is shorter than any other oem shifter, it is exactly what your looking for.

Yeah, go for the dual bend Skunk2. They say it's for an Integra, but it can be used on any 92-00 Civic. I'm getting one from Massimo in the Best Buys forum. Check it out.

How long has ur friend been using it and has he had any problems with it? Like having to retighten the bolts every once in a while....or its a fragile peice that cant handle brute force, etc?

great googly moogly gapx
who makes that thing??
who makes that thing??
On the track, the closer the shift **** is to the steering wheel, the less time you are driving withOUT both hands.

I love my dual bend skunk2 shifter it's alot closer and taller then the B&M shifter I replaced. it doesn't rattle like the B&M either which was annoying as hell.

Re: Who makes a shifter that is taller and positioned closer to the driver? (purplehazek4)
Thanks purplehaze.
Im thinking the best way to prove that it can handle hard shifts is by abusing it at the dragstrip. If it can survive 1/4mile shifts without anything moving out of place or snapping, I will be satisfied. Is there anything else ur friend would like to add? Perhaps he can give me/us some personal feedback on this thread?
Btw, I like ur Hart CP's

I'd throw on either a skull or crystal ball shifter **** on that ****! Straight up Hot rod Rock N' Roll!!!!!
That thing is higher than my old man's dump truck shifter.
