who knows exactly what i need to do a itr suspension swap
im planning on goin with a itr suspension in my ek....who has done this and wat exactly do i need to make this work....only knowledgeable people need reply

actually, i think the question should be is the upper control arm different er the same as 1 from a integra... the mounting positions are differnt on the chassis, but are the arms the same...

i did the conversion a couple weeks ago.. you will need the hubs, rotors, brake pads, ebrake cables, integra type r master cylinder and brake booster, and the wheels of course. be careful, you also need a proportioning valve, but the one off the type r wont fit because its going into your EK chassis, so use the 99-00 civic si proportioning valve.
dont forget to get ALL THE BOLTS needed, i was missing a few caliper bolts, and acura charges an arm and a leg for integra type r parts...
the lower control arms will NOT fit on an EK chassis, nor will the shocks or springs, front or rear sway bars.

I am also intersted in doing this conversion on my 00 Civic Si. Am I going to face the same problems with the lower control arm on my car or is it diffrent from the Ek?

im not sure if the lower control arms will fit on the si or not.. but if they dont, its not a problem. you dont need them to do the 5 lug conversion.

the only reason for the lca is to fit the itr strut... the knuckles/brakes/etc. the complete assembly bolts up without springs/shocks... the itr shocks are differant from stock civic shocks in the way they bolt up to the lca

Nothings diffrent
It all bolts up
you will need the 4 wheels disc proportioning valve
it isnt a must but, its nice to get the R master cylinder, it feels very diffrent

that is the step by step for an EG..
but you said you have a 99-00 civic si... you would have to use your proportioning valve, and you dont need to swap the LCA's.

What about the brake lines? Do I have to replace those on my 2000 Si ? If so which ones would work ? O.k. more than one question.
