where is my fast idle thermo valve???
on my b16a2/3 motor??
I cannot find my haynes manual
and this is bugging me
and if i am correct, to check for function on it
i remove it
and if there is vacuum at idle(as my idle lopes) that means the valve is malfunctioning??

easy way to test if its bad, take the intake tubing/piping off the t-body, start car, put finger on bottom hole in front of the throttle plate, if you feel suction, the fitv is bad.

okay, this is under the throttle body. That's the only way to describe it. It has one coolant line going to it, and the 3 bolts. One thing i've learned is that this thing is adjustable. Although honda says it is not. You can take it off the throttle body and remove the cover on the firewall side of it. You can then turn the white piece around the metal thingy. (sorry i'm being so technical) Once it's all the way tightened up it should work fine. Althogh when i tried this on mine, i accidentally put a hole in the diaphram, i found a used one for $35, but i think they cost around $70 from honda.
