I'm going stock and i need to put my stock springs back on. I tried using my muscles to do it but i had no chance. Where can i use or borrow a spring compressor? Do parts stores let people borrow them?

Yea, most rent them out. Probably like 10-20 dollars for the day.

**** ya.. its a bitch to put stock springs back on w/ out a compressor.. you can put lowering springs on w/ no problem at all cause they are shorter and not as stiff

I never use Spring Compressor to put aftermarket springs on. Just get the help of another dude when you are doing it. have him hold it down with his body weight and hand screw the nut till its on then use allen and soo on

My bro and I were playing with his springs and we forgot about how they were compressed and it shot up and smashed the light above us. It was one of the scariest and coolest moments of my life!

You NEED a spring compressor in order to put your stock springs back on. We tried without, it was a no-go. Even with the spring compressor from auto zone or checkers it was hard. I wanted to buy that professional spring compressor from mcphearson. Anyways, yeah, you'll need a spring compressor, and auto zone, or if you have a checkers there should rent them out for like $40-50 a day and then they'll give you your deposit back when you return them minus a fee of theirs.

But, yeah Autozone. I rented one about 4 times now and last time kept it over a month. Actually, I have them now as well as the ball joint remover

Auto Zone....it's like $40 i think but I'm not real sure but you get your money back when you return them......
