when i am driving, and i hit the gas the rpms dont go above 4000? need help bad
ihave a 1999 civic ex with headers exhaust short ram intake nothing much but somthing to make it run better than stock. but its not. when i am on the highway i stomp on the gas and the rpms just stop at about 4000 rpms and it takes forever to get up to speed. and forever to shift gears. anyone know what could cause this problem. if so e-mail me at

sounds like a tps problem check it and see how much voltage you have going into it at the signal wire with the car off and the throttle wide open should be somewhere close to 5 youll have a 5 volt refrence a signal and a ground
