whats the diference between b16a1 and b16a2
whats the difference between the b16a1 and b16a2? i know the b16a2 came in the 99 and up Si's and the b16a1 came in the del sol but my question is does one of the use a cable tranny or hydraulic tranny? thanks in advance for the responses.

i belive for some odd reason that the del slo DOHC came with the a3 and the Si came with the a2. the a2 is also the 170hp from Europe I think
It doesnt matter anyway, they all make the same power.
anything before 92 will be a cable tranny

b16a1 are 1.6 dohc vtec obd0 or obd1 that came from other countries other then japan.
b16a2 are usdm from the delsol or 99-00 si

b16a from 88-91 ef's from japan are 1st gen b16 comes with cable tranny
b16a from 92-95 eg from japan are 2nd gen comes with hydro tranny
b16a2 off 99-00 si us side with hydro tranny
b16a3 off 94-97 delsol hydro tranny
