Well you can start with basic bolt-ons. Get an eBay cold air intake and buy a K&N filter for it (the filters that come with eBay intakes aren't good quality), and perhaps a clean, quiet performace exhaust. If you plan on boosting this down the road, it may be wise not to buy a header since you would be replacing it anyways.

As far as value-for-money is concerned, a nice set of springs and shocks would be the BEST way to spend that money.

Decent suspension. Trust me, it's worth it.

Im gonna flamed for this but, I believe in good parts for what money you have to spend at the time! I have dropzone yes dropzone sport springs & race shocks on my 92 eg with a blox front & rear camber kit all from ebay I love the stance, ride, handling, everything about them!!! I used to roll thru the corners now I FLY thru them!!! or you could spend the money on a 5spd swap, if you have an auto. IMPO

Either

A) Save it
B) Put a GOOD suspension on it.
