What year did air condition switch over from r12 to the r134a system?
Trying to figure out what system is in my 96 Cx. Can you tell by looking at the componets? What would you look for? Part numbers?
Say you were buying a 88 hatch that *supposedly* had the r134a conversion. How would you verify this?
Anyhow, what year did the conversion start?
I've searched and found one thread on the conversion. Nothing related to what I am asking though....
Thanks!

Re: (Cuong-nutz)
Yes the pressure ports are different sizes you can buy a conversion kit that comes with everthing you need to change over go get your system evacuated first at a shop then do your worst. 93's do have R-12 refrigerant maybe the last year.
