1995 hatch with no motor or tranny, primed, one flat tire, needs new front and rear bumper. originally i was gonna give this guy 700 but then i saw it and realized it was gonna need a little more work. im thinking like 500 bucks cash. i didnt talk to the guy who was selling i only talked to his dad and he said he just needs to get rid of the car fast.

I'd take the price of a similar shell, subtract for the paint and bumber replacements. Probably about 400 if the frame is straight and doesn't need any other body work.

I'd show him $300 cash, especially if he said he just wants it out of there, if he declines, offer $400. I wouldn't spend more than $500 though.

Come with $400. Show him 3 $100 bills and if he still says no, pull out $100 in singles. He's not going to want to count it, so he'll take the $300.
