what would you do with a y7, or just wait for a Bseries....your ops.
looking to either swap something else in or just work with what i have....ive seen some Turbo Ds pulling some good numbers

It depends what you wanna do i think. I don't knw much about d series engines but im pretty sure you can turbo one for less than an engine swap and be faster than just having a stock b-series. So i say if thats good enough for you go turbo, but if you wanna go all out you should go with a b or h series.

well if i was to stay with the d it would be turboed and all internals done, the B would be outfitted with toda stuff

Well, i would just search. Then after i realize this has been asked 9938597438543 times, ask that my thread be locked for my laziness. That's just what i would do.
