i know i can get lowering springs in the UK for 100 pounds.....might be cheaper for you but thats about $200.....but you should be able to get them? I know im going to get a coil over set.....i know you can get springs cut but i dont think it will be the best idea.....

if u wanna lower it right... save your money. i payed about 500 total for Koni adjustable suspension springs with coilovers, and i've never had anything negative to say about them

you mite be able to find second hand offbrand aftermarket shocks for mad cheap on ebay, but then u can only blame yurself if u hit a pothole and bust a shock. suspension is something u want to do right.

Never cut springs. I hope you were joking. Very dangerous, not to mention the car will be sloppy as [freak].

Check out eBay for some used Eibachs, Tiens, Dropzone, Skunk2; anything engineered to lower the car. $100 isn't much money. Save up $200 and you could buy new parts.

Go with what civics4lyfe said. Coilovers. If you get a really great brand like he did you will not regret it. I went with Tokico blue shocks and Skunk 2 coilovers. I was happy with those as well

worst, most dangerous suggestion ever.

You gotta pay to play. So don't fool around with the 2nd most important component of a safely running vehicle (second only to TIRES)

I'm not even going to dignify that with a response. Think common sense.

Yeah man, you will be cool with your stock shocks for a while if you buy some 1-1.5 inch lowering springs. mild lowering is best for budgets. Then when you get some more cash, install new shocks of your choice. Thats what I did back in the day.

As posted, save and get a decent set up. You'll spend the 100, and it will be a waste . You'll realize they suck and want to not bounce all over the place. Do it right the first time.

In my opinion they look 'classy'. Makes your car have an aggressive stance, not look slammed. Handling is improved greatly, AND they are high quality.
