i have a 98 lude and all i want to do is lowe the car like 1.5 maybe 2 at the most and i dont really know which ones are the best

Skunk 2 coil overs will do you good. Adjustable is key when you aren't too sure on drop.

I would replace your your struts if you are changing out your springs. If you go with coil overs go with ground controls. there are a few different companies that are good with springs . ( eibach neuspeed tein and a few others)

If you just want to lower your car (i.e. RICE) just buy springs.

If you want your car lower as a result of putting a better suspension on it, and you want it to handle better (i.e. RACE) either buy coil-overs or a set of springs and shocks...
