What type of exhaust!!! OEM or N1
I have a 93 Si Hatch in progress. In the spring, my brother and I are putting a sohc in. What exhaust should I have. I think the Apexi N1 sounds and looks hot, but would just the sound of the motor be better?? OEM muffler.
WHATS YOU CHOICE??

see thats the thing, i dont want to loud because i want to hear vtec and cold air..thats why i thought OEM is ok, but it will reduce the hp a bit..

the ws isnt loud at all its suppose to be just as quiet as stock... maybe a little bit louder... but performs much better then oem... and its also cheaper then the N1... and dosent have as big of a ricer looking tip

second that, sounds really nice, looks even better, not to big of a bitch to put on. Be prepared to drill out the Cat studs and replace them with bolts though. I would say the WS is just about stock at idle, with a nice tone up to higher rpm. definently nice torque increase at low end.

you might be able to find just the muffler... you can pick up a apexi dunk uni muffler its kinda the best of both worlds ish...you get a nice quiet deep tone below 4000 ish rpm.. but then it starts to get louder as the rpm goes up..... but i would just opt for the complete WS catback

lol sorry but I don't think a SOHC is that special to hear. Get whatever you like, I think the N1 is TOOOOOO loud, you could lose hearing if you have sensitive ears. My exhaust is pretty loud but not too bad. 5zigen

hey.. i dont think a b16s a big deal.. my bro had it in his 96 coupe.. ran 15.4 @ 90mph but when he had sohc in his hatch, it was 14.9 @ 91, a lil bit of weight difference but.. this is only my first car! haha.
