Yeah, surprisingly, I actually like the rest of the interior. The seats are kinda gross though, IMO. It just looks like the leather is low quality and would feel awful.

Yeah, I wondering the same thing. I'd much rather go with that than an after-market wheel that compromises the SRS system.
Anyway, thanks for the info guys. Didn't know if they were legit seats or probably knock-offs.

Re: What are these seats??
uhmmm... what should we call them then? hrmm generic seats that are made out of cheap leather, sells for cheap, made out of poor quality, easily found on ebay, mostly found on Civic's with Lambo doors and probably doesn't matter to someone like you.
This probably justifies your signature. Oh and wait is that your red Ek with those cool side skirts?

Lots of hate, they look fine...even if they are cheap. If they were stamped "Recaro" on the top people would be all over these. They look fine.

Re: What are these seats??
it's not that easy.
the splines on the eg steering knuckle with ek the splines on he rack wont match.
if you you switch the rack it the eg suspension geometry wont match.
Im sure you could find a way around that, but it really isnt worth it at that point.
You can cut the part out of his oem steering wheel and then cut the splined part of the rsx wheel and wled in the eg part.

For many people "RECARO" is just a nameplate to which is "cool" but then there's the other people who actually want an actual SAFE seats from a company that has over 30 years of motorsports experience.
I'd rather have OEM seats (and I do) than some crappy knock off "racing" seats that are likely to freaking break apart in a bad accident.

BTW:
Upon closer examination of the seat in question they do look awfully crappy/cheap. Look at the white stitches visible where the seams are pulling apart. Look at the lower "panel" of the seat back and the visible line in the "panel" itself as in it looks like bent cardboard behind the leather.
