you can swap a b-series in there and just use a ls tranny... they came in automatic... not 100% on the gsr
as far as i know all b16 and type r trannies are manual

You can pretty much get any D series or B series. For the B series, all you need is an automatic LS tranny. I believe that the CRV tranny won't work, but don't quote me on it.
However, you are doing a swap to be faster. Unless you are disabled, I suggest you not to come back to us after you spend a few thousands of dollars in your car saying a stock LS beat your gsr swap with I/H/E

However, if you actually read my project thread you'll see that I'm a full time student with a full time job. That doesn't leave me much extra time to work on my car. So, why don't you explore who you're talking about before you open your mouth.

anyways, there's a JDM B16A Auto tranny, if you do a swap for motors it should be B considering you gain a cam and functionality. CRV tranny won't work, LS or a B16A (JDM) tranny is your best bet. You don't need to change to manual if you are wanting to keep auto.
