what springs to get?
i need massive input. im deciding on to get pro-kit, h&R sport or RS*R springs for my 95 civic coupe with stock shocks. I'm stikcing with stock shocks and dont want a agressive drop, just quality and good looks. So which of those 3? what are the pro's and cons of them? thanks

I say go with the Eibach, but the prokit might not be low enough. I was planning to get the prokit but i was afraid it would not be low enough, and i thought the sportlines would be way too low. i thought it over and went with the sportlines because i rather have something low than high. After installing them i was really happy on my decision because it wasn't low at all, just perfect.

I have ridden in H&R Sports and they ride real nice!
Nearly everyone I know with a Civic rides on H&R's. Having been in cars with them, I'd highly recommend them. I've got a set going on my car in the spring.

I was thinking of putting eibach sport springs on my car, but I was wondering would I scrape after the engine swap? gonna put a b18c, just wondering if it really matters? It's gotta be a daily so who knows what kinda roads i'd be on.

dont expect to get much over a year out of your stock civic shocks if you change the springs. one of the first things i did when i got my 94 coupe was put on neuspeed sports, they felt real nice... alittle bit of a drop and better performance for like under 150$, but after like a year my stock shocks were just completely blown out.
the good thing about this is that when it came time to upgrade to tein ra's, the coilovers actually felt better in shock absorption than what i was used to riding on for like a year... people are always complaining about tein ra's being too stiff, but i think they're good b/c its what i got used to.
and anything under a 2" drop doesnt need camber kits id say, i got real even tire wear w/ my neuspeeds, good luck.

I would go with neuspeed-I have neuspeed sports with tokico 5 way adjustables and they ride great-I am going to get skunk2 coilovers soon though (I want the adjustability of height). I have ridden in cars that have eibachs and they ride like crap-good luck in your decision.

No you shouldn't have a problem with scraping with the drop you would get from those springs, but I would say go with some adjustable "coilovers" like skunk2 or ground control so that way you can get the right look and ride before and after the swap.

I don't know about that, but pretty much if you lower your car you are compromising the life of your stock shocks. I would just suck it up and save up for the shocks too, or wait until you blow the stock ones to replace 'em. Just my 2 bits though
