What spark plugs needed for stock b16a2 with itr pistons?
should i use the ITR NGK PFR6G-11 or the b16's NGK PFR6L-13.
the thread pattern and heat range are the same on both plugs. although the ITR plugs are gapped to .42, as opposed to the B16's .52. i'm unsure as to other differences in the two plugs. someone enlighten me.

the ITR part# you listed is for the older type-r. the 01 lists a 7 heat range plug as OE.
but as for your question. the two plugs you listed are basically the same except the gap. also the material the plugs are made of are different which will effect longevity of the plug. really you can use either plug. what do you expect your compression to be? do you have any other mods? you may want to consider using the 7 heat range if you have enough mods to justify it.

ngksparkplugs.com/tech_support/spark_plugs/index.asp?mode=nml
After reading that I don't think i should go to the newer ITR plugs. It's a colder plug. My compression is probably going to be 10.3 or 10.4:1. Unless I'm mistaken.
I couldn't find any other differences on the two original plugs I posted. Does anyone know how different the materials are? How will the difference in gap affect me?

bumping every three hours isnt going to help get you question answered.
you can use any of the plugs listed for the b16 or b18c5. personally i would use the "v-power" bkr6e-11. they are just the basic copper plug and run like $2 each. I change them about every 10k compared to iridiums that probably last 100k.
and as far as the gap goes, it really probably wont matter too much on a fairly stock NA motor. the .052" gap should be fine for your compression ratio and power.
also, take a peak at the FAQ on the ngk website. it explains gap, heat range, plug material, etc
