What size slicks for 2000 Honda Civic Si rim?
Had a chance to run my H22 Civic at the track this past weekend; no traction at all on street tires. I had terrible 2.4-2.5 second 0-60ft times. Did a best of 14.3 on street tires.
I need some slicks.
I have a set of Si rims that I plan to use for drag racing. Currently, tire sizes are 20555R15 in the rear and 2055015 in front.
I know nothing about slicks. What's a good size slick to put on the Si rim? I believe it's a 15x7 rim. Any suggestions? Or is this a waste of money buying slicks for the Si rims?
Thanks.

Yeah, don't waste money on your SI rims unless you got the slicks sitting around. What's your brake setup in the front?? Get some drag racing rims for your car and run some MT slicks.

The brakes up front is stock, they'll be upgraded next year. With the brakes upgraded up front, I probably won't be able to run anything smaller than a 15 inch rim. So what's a good size slick for this size rim?
And by the way, the vehicle is lowered with Neuspeed Race Springs, again, the suspension to be redone next year.
