no not necessarily. as was already said you lose high beam functionality so there's no need for all 3 prongs. it's a different style of plug but that doesn't mean it's wrong.

if it still doesn't work then switch the power wire around. one needs to be ground and the other needs to provide power for low beams. test the wires with a test light or multimeter to determine which wires you need.

you have single stage hids they dont have brights, if you got bi xenon or even ones with halogen highs then it would have three prongs

1. No, you are putting LESS light on the ground with 8k or 10k, in fact the higher the K color the less lumens the bulb puts out. the K rating of the bulb is related to the color, not output.

2. Cops don;t mess with you because they don;t have time to mess with your ghey plug and play set up. If they do mess with you it's because you were most likely driving ghey.

You are so full of p00p my friend, just too cheap/broke and lazy to do a retro fit. I love guys like you, I break out this on homies such as yourself to blind the fugg out of you.

Bi-xenon, at least true bi-xenon is an HID prejector beam set up where the cut off sheild inside of the projector is motorized and drops down allowing the upward reflection of the HID light be reflected.

Ghetto rig it, you cheaped out on the HID retro fit ordering plug and ghey, why not do a fly-by-night ghetto rig ballast mount? Use a wire coat hanger to secure it.

woops, i made a mistake. Im aware that you put less light down.

But i do find it funny that you say they dont have the time. That bull ****. They dont have the time to pull someone over for hid's, but they have the the time to pull people over for no front licence plates, and in my case a parking light out.
I would say the cops have more the enough time on their hands.

Mount the ballast any where you can, when i had mine i mounted them behind the front bumper.

That's still a low baller's ghetto fabulous set up.

Nothing screams "I'm super cheap and broke" like a plug and ghey HID set up. It also show the motoring public you don't give a shiznit about anybody else but yourself.

There are quite a few kits that come like this, however there really isnt any point.
I had them and they sucked, the high beam was removed and a bigger sheild in its place.
The bulb is so little it cant do much, besides a faint light on the ground, either get single bulbs and bi xenon. Dont bother with the halogen high beam its a waste.
