Yeah my car got rear ended and the insurance company just considered it totalled and I was just wondering what you guys think I should get, 1) $5,000-$6000 EK and have a stock engine in it for a long while or should I go 2) $2000-$3000 for an EG and drop an engine right away?

which car do you like better?

eg or ek?
go with whichever you like more.

if you like the ek cuz they're usually cleaner(newer cars) but actually prefer the eg.
just get an eg with a straight body and good interior, and throw another 2500 on a nice paint job.

My advice though is that theres nothing wrong with saving up 4 wut u want.

I've actually found a few 96-97s around here for $3-4,000.

Or you can buy an EG that has all the swap and bolt ons so you dont have to worry about doing it yourself. Just enjoy the car.

go ek and convert the bitch to a ctr....motor, five-lug, interior and all ...better go total something else to cover all that cost though!!!!

IN all seriousness...dont rush into anything. Take your time.
