What should I do now? (Error Code 1 and 9)
Okay,
I have a b16a sirII in an EG and i just got it out on the road after it being garaged for about a year and a half. It was out because i needed a new tranny and I just got one and had it installed. Anyways... I was driving and the car started to stutter and then drove just fine, but the check engine light came on. I was on the freeway and it seemed to drive fine, but when I got off the freeway, it would stutter once in a awhile. So I made a stop and checked to see what was going on. I checked the codes and saw I was shooting a nineteen (Acutally 1 and a 9.) So since i didn't know what that was, I checked my plugs. Well, cylinders 1 and 2 had oil in them. There was more in cylinder 1, but i figured that was why the car was bogging out. So, i get home and buy new spark plug grombits and changed out the valve cover gasket at the same time. Oh, I also changed the spark plugs and plug wires. It seemed to drive fine that day (yesterday.) But today, on my way to work, it did the same damn thing. So I check to see if the codes were different. Nope, still one quick flash, pause, and 9 quick flashes. So, I find out that it is a Heated O2 sensor and a CYP Sensor.
Any ideas peoples?! My timing is probably off, but i have no idea how much. But what should my next steps be? and how to do those steps? Should I take it to a shop to have it fixed? Try and fix it myself with yalls help? Sup?!
Thanks

Re: What should I do now? (hb_racer)
I throw code 10 all day long, in fact my CEL is on right now and it's code 10. IAT sensor... My suggestion is to check out the sensor and see what it looks like...
