what should i do......
should i just buy a jdm b16 off honda motors and put sum cams and a vtec controller n a ecu or should i get the jdm b18c which one would be a better way to go....?

if you are staying N/A I would go with b18c if u were going F/I I would go with b18c. B16 is good but I would go with the B18c if I had the choice and build from there.

imo if i were to go na of course you would go with the b18c but with fi i would go with a b20 block and ls tranny...cheaper than b16 with a good platform...plus you could also go na and drop a b16 head on in the future...

my goal is to be fast..... are the b20 vtec's n ls vtec's the way to go or what?? what i want to kno is if the b20's rev limiter is at 6800 or whatever if i dont rev past that would it be fine and if it is fine does that meen it wont be fast....or would i have to do pistons no matter what.... 2000 civic Si

Boost a B16.. You should be satisfied with 240-250 whp from that setup. LS/VTEC's and B20/VTEC's need to be built to use their full potential. And the CRV block has thin sleeves. Stick with a factory VTEC motor and boost it.

yall talk like i can pull this money off a treee or sumthin i wanted to kno if i can do a ls vtec with all stock internals ...... anyone with experience please reply
