b16 or b18?
i have a 92 integra wit a b16a 1st gen in it. i was told that i was better off get a b18c in my car, but at the time i didnt have the money for it. anyway, the motor pulls hard, granted it doesnt have the torque of the b18c, would you guys recommend swapping out 2 a b18c or keeping my b16a...a friend of mine told me to keep my motor and swap in CTR cams and pistons, try all-motor 2 see how i like it, if not then turbocharge the car....what would u recomend?
Both are very capable engines, and each has their strong points. the b16 has a better head, but the b18c has more torque. Instead of replacing the b16, try building it. Go turbo and have all sorts of fun outrunning the b18's.

I would keep the B16 then I bore it to 86MM then install some CTR cams and pistons which will bump your compression to 12.2:1. that should be really fun and you can still run on pump ****. If your worried about cost then you could always buy a turbo kit and that would be just as fun but that's if you do not want to go all motor like I just mentioned with the CTR cams, pistons, and boring to 86MM

Don't you need custom mounts or something for an H22 to drop in a 90-93 Integra and 88-91 Civic?

with the motor you already have in there... get a gsr bottom end, get some type r pistons... maybe new rods, sleeves. that will cost the least amount of money compared to a different swap, turbo, ls/crvtec, stroker kit, and it will give you that extra torque you want. if you want more displacement... you can always consider boring out before you sleeve. plus you get the best of both worlds... torque from the b18c block, and that good flowing head of the b16.
