I have them in a 96 coupe. Bottom part fits like a glove will fit in the Sedan perfectly. The backrest was to wide for the coupe since it was from a 4 door so i cut my rear quarter panels to the contour of the seat and it fits nicely.
The backrest should fit in a 4 door civic no problem though since it is wider. The only worry would be the mounting brackets because the locks faced the other direction than the ones in my coupe did.
let me know if you have any other questions.
