From that I got a D-series.org link and they clearly state P2P is the D16Y8 ECU. A01 or C01 would be manual while an A51 or C51 would be an automatic.

Thank you guys! I've been trying to figure out whats wrong with my car. I'm pretty sure its the ecu, so I'm gonna test the one i have and then if that's the problem get a new one. If not I'm lost.

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO CONVERT A AUTOMATIC VTEC ECU INTO A 5 SPEED ECU...ITS CAUSE I'M USING A AUTOMATIC WIRING HARNESS AND I BOUGHT A ECU BUT IT'S A P2PA30 AND THE GUY TOLD ME IT WAS VTEC .

OBDII ECUs can't be converted.
I think if the middle digit of the last group is any number less than 5, it is for a manual transmission. But usually that digit is zero or 5.
To properly set up a manual OBDII EX, you need manual ECU, manual EX intake manifold and throttle body, and rewire the harness slightly by installing a 2 wire plug for the IACV and moving the IACV wire at the ECU.
