What is the perfect tool kit for my eg hatch?
Didn't know where to put this.
I got a 95 eg hatch dx. And wanted to know. What's the perfect tool kit for our cars? I know a normal tool kit blah blah blah would work. But I don't want to have useless ones in there that I won't ever use, and I don't want to take them out and have a ghetto looking half put together kit. This will be in the car at all times for emergency type stuff that can go wrong or what not. So anyone got a link or where to buy from? And I do have a garage full of tools over tens of thousands worth. But I want a small kit perfect for my car. Thanks.

You usually use 8, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19mm sockets in 3/8 drive would be good, as well as a piece of pipe for a cheater bar. A couple extensions. A box end wrench of each would be good. A couple screwdrivers. Pliars. A utility knife. Paper clip (for pulling codes). Duck Tape, zip ties and a couple lengths wire such as a metal coat hanger for holding up a hanging exhaust pipe or bumper or such. A flashlight, pair of mechanics/assemblers gloves or at least some paper towels and hand cleaner would be a pretty good kit.

^^^ all good stuff to have you might want to add a good 1/2 gun that can take off that crank bolt. its also can be use for the wheels (taking on and off) a breaker bar 3/8 and a 1/4 drive ratchet plus the 8 10 12 13 14 sockets for the tight spots. Oh and get both short and deep sockets....

how about you save yourself money & keep your car lighter. also it'll have less things for thieves to take.
.. since you already have thousands of dollars worth of tools in your garage.
