What kinda short shifter?
I am about to get a short shifter for my car, and I am thinking about Skunk2, but I head it's better reaction time, but doesn't look low in your car. A few of my buddies also have Neuspeed.. I want to get some advice from HT people. Also what's the difference between dual bend and single bend? which one should i go for?

this was just talked about recently, use the search function. however any short shifter works the exact same way, the shifter is just longer from the pivot point to where it bolts up to the shiftlinkage.

i like the ITR specs shifter. its dual bend, shorter then stock but not crazy short. its got nice feel to it.

I ordered a Cs shortshifter. I should have it within 2 weeks. I will post my thoughts. Supposed to be the best shfiter available. If you can justify spending $300+ for a short shift kit, go for it..

while we're on the topic, is there a difference between the short shifter of a D series and a B series short shifter?? I had a D series DC short shifter but after the swap i just kept it, now if feels all out of place. (4th gear is in the place of neutral).
DC sports short shifter is short...i like it, good for the price.

It's possible the tranny is not physically in the same position. It sounds like the tranny is closer to the stick. Can try remounting the engine/tranny with some aftermarket mounts, or maybe just shortening the linkage. Does 1/3/5 feel higher than before the swap?
One problem I had was the shifter was rubbing against the a-pipe between the cat and resonator. Gave it a very funky feeling.

I just got the FS-series shifter from TWM Performance. the quality is much better than my old DC Sports one, and it is the shortest shifter on the market. It looks like a new 350Z installed. check out http://www.twmperformance.com i think you'll like it. I can also do a group buy on these if anyone is interested.

I got a skunk2 dual bend. it sit's a little bit back from the stock one, other then that no issues with my shifter. the skunk2 is about the same stock height but longer at the end point.
