Default what engine 1992 civic hatch
I just bought a 1992 civic hatch. Then engine in it now is a y5 block with z6 head. What I wanted to do is pull that engine and swap in the original vtec engine with direct plug. Same head and block. The 1992 has obd1 correct? I have been searching for a week and get more confused as I read. Any information would be great.

which model is yours? CX, DX, Si??
do you want to retain Vtec or not?

eg Si comes stock D16Z6 motor with p28 ECU

which ECU are you running?
