What does the sound insolation mat weigh?

Someone said they saw in Sport Compact Car that the sound insolation mat under the carpet weighs 40 LBS! Is that true? Anyone ever remove/weigh it?

someone mentioned that if you remove all of it, its about 20 lbs. (Hybrid board)
