I don't usually like hoods with vents but this one is pretty nice...But I do agree about the water on the header...especially if the motor is HOT.

Its pretty phat.
personally i wouldn't get a hood with a vent, but that depends on taste.

Oh and about the water, when I'm at home I park in a garage, granted if it was rainging I would only drive from a to b, and then let's say i go on a road trip... and if that was the case I would expect the water to be blown back from interstate speeds. I don't think it'll be to big a problem, I'm sure I could rig something up to cover them... or mount the OEM heat sheild somehow... i dunno.
It does look a lot like the mugen rsx-r hood... and doesn't look to deep like most other hoods i've seen. Candy.

don't paint it...i have a stock design and it looks good on a fbp coupe. didn't want the vented design b/c of water on engine/headers/etc.

it's your money so if you like it then you should get it. . but if you do, i would keep it the way it is and not paint it 'cause i think painting it would defeat the purpose, plus it would look good on black...
