What do you think?

i ran acrost these, about the only limitation in rpm i could see would be the ignition system. i think its a pretty cool idea, i would like to see something like this developed for a honda. i see the kit for fords and chevy's are $15,000 so its a little steep. what you guys think?

Re: What do you think? (Frickr)
Very innovative. I think a Honda version would be cool. Wouldn't mind seeing a swap. Kind weird, but it's new and differant.
Also, if they ever made it, i'd have to say this.. $15K is really steap, it may be innovative, but what if a part ever broke or something went wrong? That would cost a lot to get it replaced or fixed. If you have the money and the desire, go for it.

i think on the ford ZETEC motors with the variable valve timing, doesnt the whole cam change in timing on the intake on some and exaust valve on the others? unlike honda Vtec where when the oil pressure hits it locks the rockerarms togeather to run off the bigger center lobe. i think something like that would work with these heads. but if you can push your motor to 16,000rpm double what it runs right now, granted your main and rod caps would have to be pretty strong to hold up to this, but im sure it wont be to bad of a problem. freeing up extra hp by having to only turn these 2 shafts, instead of turning the cams, pushing the rockerarms and pushing the valves up and down, so there would be far less heat. combine that with a turbo, a setup like this would be just utter nuts.
