what do you guys think?
right now my car is stock, its a 97 civic ex coupe (d16y8).... i kind of want a new clutch to make it feel more torquey... would an exedy organic clutch be too much for my car? all i'll have by the time i have enough money for a new clutch is an intake, header and exhaust... so it'll have like 120 to the wheels... i do plan on boosting, but not for awhile (like next year)... obviously i dont want an OEM replacement clutch... but what do you guys think? for right now, my car being as stock as it is... would an organic clutch be pointless? if so, what after-market clutch do you recommend?
and what else do you recommend replacing along with the clutch? should i kit an entire clutch kit? or what

When you get a new clutch, get the clutch kit as that's how it most often comes. You will get the new disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot bearing, and an alignment tool to line it all back up.
Good clutches (IMO) are ACT, Exedy is good, Clutchmasters.

how is changing the clutch going to make the car more "torquey"?? It either works or it doesn't. Is you stock clutch slipping now?

yeah i plan on boosting the d16... not for awhile though... my clutch doesnt seem as strong as it should be though, and thats why im thinking about replacing it... but until i boost it, you dont think an exedy organic would be pointless for a stock motor right?

Check out these clutches. they are absolutely amazing. you can call them up and they will make u a clutch for what you want. they can increase pressure plate loads. Different materials can be used you will not be dissapointed.

I'm confused, is your clutch slipping? How does it not seem strong?
