what do i do..
ok, well recently my parents got me a new car.. 97 civic ex, auto.. (graduation present)
i was thinkin it would be cool to do **** with the car, but then i remembered.. i dont know anything about cars,. i have no idea what to do..
ive asked a few people and the biggest response i get is to get a new engine.. i was told either the b16a or b18c.... anyway, is there more i can do? does the fact that its auto mean ill be held back.. is it possible to convert to manny..
i really dont know where to start (and im thinkin i prob. shouldnt start modding the car until i know more about this stuff..)
any info/help is greatly appreciated

It is possible to switch from auto to manual...
But if your really serious about "modding" your car i would recommend purchasing a car (civic) that already has a manual transmission.
This will save you from a huge headache (imo) when trying to do an auto to manual swap.
But if you cant get rid of the car (graduation present) then i would say- just drive it, and get something different later on.

it all depends on the $$$$$$$ son. if you got a nice chunk of graduation money left you still could have a nice whip. if not, keep savin and drive what you got for awhile
