LISTEN YOU NON READERS!!! i seriously doubt any of you nubs have each others keys... THE FRIGGIN KEYHOLE IS WORN OUT! this happens because:
1. You're a nub at putting hard things in holes.
2. You're a nub.
3. You use your spare key too much.
3. You are just plain stupid for trying to put another key in because on of these days, ANY car key will fit in that thing.
STOP PUTTING OTHER KEYS IN unless you want your car stolen. if that is the case, please leave your home adress so someone on here can steal your car. thank you

Re: (Advan06)
So I guess that with as many cars as honda produces each year that its impossible for them to have cut a few keys that are almost if not exactly the same.
There are olny so many ways a key can be cut before the pattern is repeated again. So it is highly possible ( and obvious) that one persons key can work in another persons car. Like I said one of my friends 90 Accord key will work in my other friends 97 Civic, not because they are worn out but because the keys are almost identical.
Also my moms 87 Lincoln Continental trunk key opened the doors to my buddies 86 Ford Tempo.

Re: What are the chances..... (Burke)
Here's my story happended 2 years ago...
I stopped by McDonald's on night to eat dinner. It was raining and I was in a hurry to get in my car, red a 94 Ferio, coz I didn't have an umbrella. As I was driving out of the parking lot, I noticed the radio station was not in the same frequency as It was before I turned it off, and the seat covers was different. DAMN, I got in the wrong car! It was a same 94 red ferio. I drove back and saw my car parked 1 car away. Fortunately no one parked on the slot so I parked, locked and got in my car and drove away. It was scared the owner saw me and thought I was stealing his car.
Well since that day I used a steering wheel lock. Old cars have worn out locks so thats why my key opended and started the other car.

its not that uncommon really. on the ford focus lock cylinder it has 8 tumbler positions and 5 tumbler heights which eguals 390,625 different combinations to cover a 5 year period(5 years because they havent changed the design since they started producing the car) so yeah its easily possible. i just looked at my civic key and it has 9 or 10 positions and maybe 5 heights

You got that right! Upto now I still feel wierd everytime i look back at that experience. The owner of that car must have been boggled too when he or she gets back in the car with the radio station changed and the steering wheel turned! haha.
