Ignition Issues, Key will not turn sometimes, now most times....
I have a 94 Honda Accord with 225k miles on it now. Somehow, I have always been able to start the car with no problems, but ever since I got married in November, my wife always complain that she can not turn the key to start my car. I guess I know exactly how to naturally wiggle the key a little bit to get it started. It turns on the first try for me 95% of the time. My wife, on the other hand, will try a gazillion times cursing at it to get the key to turn. On Thursday, my sister tried to start my car and had problems turning the key as well. I never had a problem with it, but she always had.
Well, now, she drove my car on Friday. She was stuck for 1/2 hr trying to get the key to turn, finally she ask a co-worker, and the guy came, and it turned on the first try.
Yesterday, when I went in my car to start it, I could not get the ignition to turn. I tried wiggle in all directions, and it would not turn. The steering was not locked. I went in the house to get my spare key (copy from 2 years ago), and it started on the first try. I was thinking that maybe my key was worn down. I turned off the car, and tried to start it, and again, it would not turn with the spare key. For the rest of the day, I have problems starting it every time. When it turns, it turns like it was never stuck though, it just turns naturally. Now, I am thinking either the ignition switch is going out, or I need a new original key, or maybe my wife messed up something when she tried unsuccessfully for so long.
Whats the possible causes of this?

After reading up here a bit, I am going to try to get a new key cut from the dealership. Today, it started for me like it never had a problem to begin with. I am sure if my wife goes in it, it would no turn for her though.

You just need a new lock cylinder. You can get one from rockauto for cheap. Then just take off the screws on the lower(and/or upper) steering column cover you need to access the cylinder. Turn the key to acc(or on I can't remember but you'll know when you do it) and find something small to push in the tiny pin facing you on the old cylinder and pull it out and put the new one in.

If the steering wheel is locked you gotta turn the steering wheel back and forth while turning the key to unlock it.
