what can i use as a test lamp substitute?

Default what can i use as a test lamp substitute?

hey quick ? i wanna do one test but hardware store is already closed ... what can i use as a substitute for a test lamp to connect between my batt and the neg batt cable to check for a short??

Your fingers . Just kidding. Use a test lamp or multimeter or voltmeter. Voltmeter prolly be the best.

Yeah, you can't go wrong with the real thing. I still like the finger idea though .

your tounge!

on a serious suggestion, grab a blinker light or back up light and connect it to 2 ends of wire. that would work as a test bulb.
