What all can trigger the IACV (code 14) check engine light?
I ask because I replaced my IACV with one that works, checked my plugs and made sure it was plugged in correctly, and the code is still going off and the car still won't idle. It drops to 500 then dies right away, if it even starts.

you check for vaccum leaks? bad gasket? take some brake cleaner/intake manifold cleaner and spray around to see if there is any leaks.

AICV shouldnt stop your car from idling even if its not working properly. You have a vacumn problem somewhere. Unplug the AICV and see if you car still wont idle. THen work from there to solve the problem..

i replaced my IACV and still have a rough idle and the CEL. me and a buddy found that my intake manifold gasket was cracked and there was a vacuum leak. start your car and open your hood... listen really carefully to see if you can hear any leaks.
good luck.
good luck.
