weird honking (?) noise in ek??
ok i have an h22 ek, and at about 2850-2900rpm i hear this really weird noise coming from the back, almost like its from the exhaust. The first time i heard it i thought that the person behind me was honking at me and i kept going above and below that rpm so i kept hearing and looking back 
But now i figured out that it happens just at that rpm and i can get it to stay if i can keep it at that rpm. Any ideas? i have no idea what could be making the noise from the rear of the car...TIA

my guess is its something coming from your exhaust. Have someone stand back there while you get it to that RPM so you can try and Identify the source

ok well im my new muffler on in the next day or two and hopefully that will fix it but thanks for the replies

Yeah, muffler swap, ****, that's DEFINATELY a muffler bearing problem, change that **** ASAP before it blocks up that cat...
In a serious note tho, that's jsut weird...does it do it in neutral or when ur driving only?
