Default Weird Combination of CEL #'s + Dead Speedometer?

Was driving to work when my speedometer died and the CEL came on. While driving it would randomly go wild and the lights on the instrument cluster were pulsing from dim to bright. Now that I am home, I pulled the codes and they show:

-P0501
-P1298
-P0430
-P1410

What exactly is going on? Is this the exposed wire issue shown at this link?

Start by trying to fix the p1298. It has to do with electronic load detector/under hood fuse box. Supposedly its from broken solder joints within the box. .Try and pick one up from a scrap yard it should not be too much(inspect the under hood box first though see if anything is toast and check the fuses). A lot of times one electrical problem can start a chain of events. The p0501 is the speed sensor, just look at it and its wiring.

When I went under, the connector(s) was not attached to anything, but hanging by its own wires.

What do I do about this? It is not what is pictured in your link!

It does not appear to be damaged on any part of it. I checked it out as best as I could. All the wires were good and the plastic loom wrap (whatever the hell it's called lol) was undamaged all the way around.

Why do you think the wires to what you are holding are different from the diagram in the link?

The ones in the diagram look like its 2 sets of wires meeting at one connector, no? Looks like mine were separated and capped. Probably just looking at it wrong.

But anyway, what can I do or check now? It doesn't look like it's damaged anywhere at all. Do I have to take my harness out?

Side note: My downstream o2 melted on my exhaust and I didn't even know it. The wires were all exposed, broken up, touching and everything around it was melted. Would this be causing some of it?
