weird CEL situation
after driving on the highway for about 5 mins or so, the cel will come on in my car. it doesnt effect anything at all, vtec still works fine and ****. i tried shutting my car off while driving on the highway and turning it back on and hte cel will go away for about another 5-10 mins and then it will come back on. i am not giving it hardly any gas, just crusing on hte highway at regular speed and it comes on for no reason.... or so it seems.
it will no do this while driving around town between stop lights or anything like that either.
i have no way to check the cel cause it goes away as soon as i turn the car off and turn it back on so it really pisses me off cause i dont know what it is.
its a JDM b16 Sir2 in eg hatch... any suggestions?

yepp you can still check it the ecu hold memorie until you reset it so go jump the harness on the pass. side and figure out what the cel light is

Re: weird CEL situation (CRXified)
jump it, I'm pretty sure it's the o2 sensor it happens to me quite often
also even with the cel light off the ecu does store it in it's memory until you've reseted the ecu like the guy above said. you can reset the ecu but disconnecting your positive battery terminal for a couple minutes and putting it back on. If it's not the throwing the o2 sensor then kick me..
