weight removal of engine bay...
About how much weight will I shave from removal of my already disfunctional a/c compessor/lines, p/s pump/lines? Can I also remove the a/c p/s pulleys?
Then install of 9lb flywheel, and billet crank pulley?
Power steering is for seniors and women, air conditioning is for the rich

I think there was a thread somewhere in the FAQs but I don't recall. You're looking at like 25+ lbs. PS lines, brackets pump, AC compressor, condensor.....

the crank pulley is usually one peace that drivesthe ac/ps/alt so u can either get a reallly light crank pulley or a jdm pulley ive seen on ebay that just drives the alt but i think the lightened crank pullies are lighter the compressor is damn heavy and slows ur engine down just running the pulley and power steering isnt real heavy but it elminates another pulley being driven.

That is what I was thinking, those ******* are pretty heavy, gotta be more than 25lbs.
More info
Anyone know if I can remove the pulleys from the p/s a/c also? If they aren't running anything, why not remove them right?

Why not go with a 8lb or 7lb flywheel why your at it? I think stock is 11 or 12 so that's not that much of a difference.

A very light flywheel is not good for launching
