Weighed my car after the Northwood meet
A friend and I were joy riding near the meet up near Jeffrey road, and found a road that led us to a dump. So I thought we'd throw her on the scale...
Thought the new motor would bog it down some, but:
1800 pounds without driver, even.
Wish I would have weighed it with the cx motor so I'd know the difference.
Oh well how can I complain about weigh when I had an HP gain of 100?!?

Re: Weighed my car after the Northwood meet (EGsixer)
I'm gonna go there again tomorrow to try again. Somethin didn't seem right. I know I got a cx, but all I got out are my back seats (maybe 50lbs?) so I dunno. I know I was in the center of the scale, thats for sure. I mean I have a world of difference between myself and a dx (no ac, no power steering, no sound deadener, no side mouldings, only ONE side mirror). *However, I did crash it once, and I had to have a new trunk floor welded into the back, would that have lightened it if they used an aftermarket trunk floor made from lighter ghetto metals?

Dump scales are not very accurate, try certified truck stop scales. They are required by law to keep those accurate so that should give you a better reading.
